biography

prior to design, i completed an English degree at University of Alberta with a minor in Comparative Literature. i wanted to work in publishing, had a part-time job at Chapters, and still have a special fondess for editorial design. now i get to read for fun, and my favourite genre is thriller/horror.
confident in delivering a wide range of graphic solutions for a variety of outputs, i guide clients and welcome their input and feedback in creating tailored and unique designs from beginning to end. i use industry-standard tools (including knowledge of non-generative AI techniques and processes) and can work with local vendors, retailers, and printers resulting in visually-stunning and precise final products.

the bulk of my career experience comes from being a graphic designer working in-house in the AEC industry. in this role, i’ve collaborated on a variety of marketing and branding teams, as well as being involved with environmental and wayfinding design on award-winning interior design and neighbourhood development projects.
lifelong learner
i love integrating new skills into my design practice! lately i’ve been working on my illustration skills in Procreate through my freelance practice, but in previous roles I’ve self-directed learning in animation and 3D modelling, and took UI/UX courses through Emily Carr University of Art and Design.
